Production Blog: Cafe Complications

 Hey, Sappies. It's Char. Welcome to yet another blog. Are you tired of me yet? Well, your answer doesn't matter because I'm going to keep writing anyway. Last blog i gave you guys a little sneak peak for this blog. And of course, the title of the blog gives it away. Today we will be discussing cafe complications. Let's get started.

So, turns out that there's a slight problem. Since the beginning we had the idea to have Madeline work in a cafe. So of course the cafe is essential to the story line. We had originally planned to record at Press and Grind Cafe. So after filming we decided to head on over. Except when we got there they already had an attitude and were being plain rude. So you guessed it, they wouldn't let us record there. It's fine though, they were overrated anyway (I got a muffin and water when I was there so trust me, I know). But no worries, over course we always plan a step ahead. We have a second option, the Bulegreen Cafe Yard. They're a cafe close to my house and I thought that I'd speak to them about us filming there. They seemed super nice and told me that they'd get back to us. In the end though they said no because their hours didn't really work for us. They would open at 8am and close at 3pm. By the time we'd get there it'd be past 3 pm if we decided to film after school. And there was no way for anyone to get there early in the morning on weekends. We then decided to go film at Capital One Cafe, but they said no. And so on the way to the parking lot, we decided to film in Sabrina's church once she got permission from the owners over the phone. We filmed there and got all the cafe scenes done that day.
